I went to the National Zoo last weekend, it was a rainy much cooler day than it has been. When we got to the zoo people were leaving since it was raining, so a perfect day to go! They have a wonderful selection of animals and it is a very big zoo. I am glad I was here on a rainy overcast day, as opposed to being there when it is really hot, there was a lot of ground to cover, and it would have been miserable on a hot day. Here are a few of the pictures I got of some of the animals.
